As artists we are driven by one of 2 forces…Hope or Despair…and I would venture to say that at times we have created from both postures. Personally I think that when we create with the intention of hope, we have to be able to find that inspiration. Hope for the world comes from hope in the lives of the artists that live in that world.

Maybe you are hopeless today or maybe someone close to you is in desperate need of hope in their life It’s ok. We all have those moments. My friend and Pastor is releasing a new book today, Let Hope In, and if you are someone who needs hope right now or you know someone who could use a little hope I want to encourage you to get this book! Pete does an amazing job explaining how pain does not heal itself and that if we don’t learn to transition our pain we just transfer it over and over again. As artists I think this book is so important to the development of a new lens from which we can create.

So today I hope you fine a little hope because we need you and your art to move the world a little closer on our journey towards the Creator.
