Do you feel like you never get your way? A lot of artists feel that way and it sucks. Sometimes it is good for us to face rejection and sometimes it is not. There are a few things you can do in order to improve your chances of getting what you want far more often, and earn equity in the process. Why don’t you might try:

Being confident yet humble.

Being prepared when you make your pitch.

Know the story that makes this compelling.

Know the reason WHY.

Know the data and the downside. Be ready to defuse these.

Rehearse before you arrive. Don’t show up unprepared.

Inspire who you are talking to don’t bore them.

Find ways to care about the things the person you are pitching cares about. It makes a big difference.

Try it, let me know if it works. I bet it will.

What gets measured improves.

Every church should have a value around excellence. In order to honor that value, we must always be improving. We all know that “What gets measured gets improved.” This weekend scorecard will help you evaluate the parking lot, kids' areas, worship environments, auditorium, and lobby. Download this free tool and start using it this weekend. Let’s get better, together.

IT'S ON THE WAY!
