Do you Design For Your Audience?

Interesting little story/slideshow over @ FastCompany about how malls are becoming more family friendly from the parking lot forward. They are being intentional.
When you are creating your environments, your new building, your redesign, are you thinking about your end user or are you creating for yourself? What about that family, handicapped person, foreigner to your domain who has yet to set foot inside your place…have you thought about them?
I get to visit a lot of cool churches, and you can tell when someone has been very intentional about building for those who will attend. If your church is in the middle of a retirement home, you probably don’t need to focus on the family, but still focus…be intentional.
The user is much more important than the owner.
