For Your Consideration…

Today is a big day. Voting begins today for the 41st annual Dove Awards. The only vote that the general public can vote for is New Artist of the year. It just so happens that our very own Kari Jobe is nominated in this category. Here is a few things about Kari you might or might not know:

1. She loves cheez-its.
2. She is a sweet girl with a great voice and a great heart for ministry.
3. She has sold over 120k albums in 54 weeks
4. She is a worship leader at her church in Dallas, TX…but also leads worship all over the country.
5. She has shared the stage with some of todays largest worship leaders…and my son!

So here is what I need you to do. Take 5 minutes of your time and go vote for Kari. THEN…text, tweet, call, email, snail mail, smoke signal or whatever your favorite form of communication is and tell your friends to do the same. Kari has worked so hard this year and it would be awesome for her to be rewarded with this award. And I like the idea of the new artist of the year being a worship leader…just saying.
