Leadership?
People are desperate to be led.
As a leader, being a effective or a ineffective is not dependent on your circumstances, size of your organization, titles, office, salary, or any of that other stuff. Being a great leader is dependent on the decisions you are making today, and the vision your casting for tomorrow.
You being a great leader is not defined by yesterday, it is defined by today, and tomorrow.
So many leaders forget this and focus all their leadership on yesterday. They focus on past success, on what is happening around them when really everyone is standing around waiting for them to lead us into tomorrow.
So stop buying the lie that your a loser because you have made some mistakes. You overcame some bad decisions and you are responsible to make sure the decisions you are making TODAY are solid, innovative, not reacionary, and taking those who follow you, us, to our destination.

To be honest, I am feeling funky big time not “being” a pastor. I have some plans, and we will see how they turn out. But, at this time, this moment, I have to lead my family and do all I can to make my marriage with my wife richer (wich by the way is a deal I almost screwed up big time) and to be the best dad I can be.
