Sundays are big…obviously.
They’re big because we get to share something special. We get the chance to show someone a side of life that may be completely new to them.
Sundays are…
…filled with hope.
…filled with worship.
…filled with expectancy.
…filled with community.
…filled with the possibility of changing the course of our lives.
We often hear people say “Sunday is coming.” That’s exciting, not bad. Sunday is an opportunity! We can’t allow ourselves to take Sunday for granted. We can’t allow ourselves to get so comfortable with Sunday that we drift into this place where we somehow allow Sunday to become common, or worse, a work day. Sunday is not just brunch, football, and “a service.”
Remember how special Sunday is. Remember what it felt like when we GOT to have service? Remember the butterflies?
Remember when we could not sleep because we knew anything was possible?
If we have lost this feeling, it’s time to reclaim it and remember that Sunday is a gift…a gift that could mean eternity.
Lets go!
Good reminder, dude.
