I hope you have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Today I wanted to share with you our Christmas video. I love this creation. The song: “Reflections Of Jesus” was written by some of our amazing volunteers Wayne Baird, Hillary McBride, Nathan Spicer, and Seth Penn. The song was produced by Justin Eboch (one of our key volunteers) and Matt Warren our music director. Our own amazing Kate Carlson blessed the track with her sweet vocals. The video was produced by the amazing Matt Singleton and all of the actors and crew are volunteer. Both of the houses in the video were destroyed by the Nashville floods just 18 months ago. Jess, Jenni’s sister, lost her apartment to fire a few months ago and this house is now her home. The house across the street was a home our church helped rehab. The family who lives there has never gone to our church but they came for the first time over Christmas to see their home on the video. Super cool. The last thing about the video, 2 churches asked to borrow this piece and played it in their services for Christmas Eve. We love when the art we create gets shared across other platforms. I would love to know your thoughts on the video.
Over the next week, we are going to run the top 7 posts from 2011. I hope your Christmas is amazing. I really can’t wait to see what happens next year. It’s going to be awesome. Thank you for visiting the blog.
Be creative, but don’t be safe.
What are some of your favorite things from this holiday season?
Brewster All I can say is WOW, watched it at the church and on line. Everytime i see it tears just start rolling down my face. Crosspoint just doesn’t reach out to people. It also touches them and everyone involved. May 2012 be more amazing than 2011.
Wow. The true awesomeness of really giving is incredibly humbling. Big blessings to the church, sometimes it’s a great thing to be humbled by great sentiment that leads to revolutionary actions.
Thanks – Rich.
