I have walked through a very intense two years. Stuff I never thought would happen to and around us, happened. I found myself on certain days carrying far more than I have been equipped to lead through. It created some severe anxiety in my life. Thankfully, Jackie talked me into going to our Dr. and getting some medicine to help level me out. Also, I ended up seeing a great therapist who helped me process the things, events, the trauma that I was navigating.

If you are working through anxiety or depression, you are not alone. There is no shame or embarrassment in keeping yourself mentally and emotionally healthy. I want to encourage you right now, take the next step. See a Dr, schedule an appointment with a therapist, pray, get help. Heck, you can email me, and I will help you find your next step.

On this month’s Free To Lead podcast, Pastor Troy and I talk about walking through seasons of health and less than healthy as it pertains to anxiety and depression.

I can’t say I am 100% back, but I can tell you I’m healthier than I was and I am working to get back to 100%.
